유료 운영에 따른 구민 경제적 부담 해소 및 물류비용 절감 공약
민관 합동 점검단 구성 등 ‘안전 관리 시스템’ 전면 강화 선언
더불어민주당 김찬술 대전 대덕구청장 예비후보가 대덕구의 핵심 교통축인 대전천변도시고속화도로(이하 천변도로)의 통행료 무료화와 안전 관리 체계 강화를 핵심 공약으로 내걸었다.
김 예비후보의 공약은 주민들의 가계 부담을 줄이는 동시에 낙후된 도로 안전 인프라를 대대적으로 정비해 ‘경제와 안전’ 두 마리 토끼를 잡겠다는 포석이다.
천변도로는 대덕구와 서구, 유성구를 최단 거리로 연결하기 위해 지난 2004년 개통된 대전의 대표적인 간선도로다.
