정용래 대전 유성구청장이 대전 지역의 극심한 교통 정체와 국제적 에너지 위기 상황을 타개하기 위해 공직자들이 먼저 대중교통 이용에 나설 것을 주문하며 솔선수범하는 공직 풍토 조성을 강조했다.
정 구청장은 1일 열린 확대간부회의에서 최근 천변도시고속화도로 옹벽 보강 공사로 인한 원촌육교 인근의 교통 마비를 언급하며 우려를 표했다. 그는 “주요 도로 통행 차단으로 유성구 관내까지 전례 없는 교통 혼잡이 이어지며 주민 불편이 가중되고 있다”고 진단했다.
