비번에도 빛난 사명감…구미소방서 대원들, 카페서 쓰러진 시민 구조

구미소방서에 따르면 지난 3월 28일 오후 2시경 대구 달성군 한 카페에서 40대 남성 A씨가 갑자기 의식을 잃고 쓰러지는 사고가 발생했다.

당시 현장에 있던 이지현(봉곡119안전센터)·차영진(119구조구급센터) 소방교는 비번임에도 즉시 환자에게 다가가 상태를 확인하고 응급조치에 나섰다. 특히 간호사 근무 경력이 있는 이지현 소방교가 중심이 돼 침착하게 환자의 상태를 파악했다.

두 대원은 환자의 구강 내 출혈을 확인하고 기도를 확보하는 등 신속한 응급처치를 실시했으며, 낙상에 따른 외상 가능성을 고려해 두부 손상 여부도 함께 점검했다. 아울러 보호자를 안심시키며 현장 대응을 이어갔다.

이후 환자는 의식을 일부 회복했으나 어지러움을 호소하는 상태였으며, 현장에 도착한 대구 강서소방서 매곡구급대에 인계됐다. 현재 생명에는 지장이 없는 것으로 전해졌다.
