군은 지난 1일 오후 백곡면 물안뜰체험마을에서 입소식을 열고, 프로그램에 참여하는 입소자들을 환영했다.
이날 행사에는 개인 1명과 부부 2쌍 등 총 5명의 참가자와 함께 마을 이장, 노인회장, 선배 귀농인, 관계 공무원 등 10여 명이 참석해 따뜻한 환영의 자리를 마련했다.
‘진천에서 살아보기’는 귀농·귀촌을 희망하는 도시민이 일정 기간 농촌에 직접 거주하며 영농 기술과 지역 문화를 체험하고, 실제 정착 가능성을 사전에 검토할 수 있도록 지원하는 체류형 프로그램이다.
참가자들은 앞으로 3개월간 물안뜰체험마을에 머물며 농작물 재배 실습, 농촌 일자리 체험, 지역 명소 탐방, 주민 교류 활동 등 다양한 프로그램에 참여하게 된다.
이를 통해 농촌 생활에 대한 이해를 높이고 안정적인 정착 기반을 마련할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
