세종시, 지진 도상훈련 실시

세종시가 2일 관내 지진 발생 상황을 가정한 재난대응체계를 점검하기 위해 도상훈련을 실시했다.

이날 훈련에는 소방본부와 세종경찰청 등 유관기관 6곳이 참석해 기관․부서별 주요 대처사항 발표, 기관간 협업사항 논의, 질의응답 등을 진행했다.

특히 훈련은 폭염특보가 발효된 가운데 시청 정남쪽 5㎞ 지점에 규모 5.8 진도 7 지진이 발생한 복합재난상황을 가정해 이뤄졌다.

시는 이번 훈련을 계기로 실제 재난 발생 시 기관 간 유기적인 협력체계를 한층 강화하고, 초기 대응 역량을 더욱 고도화할 계획이다.

고성진 시민안전실장은 “지진이 우리시 지역에 발생빈도는 적지만 전국에 매년 100여차례 발생되고 있고 사전에 예측이 어렵기 때문에 대응훈련을 통해 반복 숙달이 중요하다”며 “지진발생시 신속한 대응으로 시민의 생명과 재산을 지키수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
