【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=청주의료원은 4월 3일, 오는 제81회 식목일을 앞두고 전직원이 참여하는 환경정화 활동을 펼쳤다.
이번 활동은 식목일의 의미를 되새기고 쾌적한 병원 환경을 만들어 나가자는 취지로 마련됐다. 꼭 필요한 업무를 맡은 인력을 제외한 전 직원이 한자리에 모여 병원 안팎을 함께 가꾸는 시간을 가졌다.
병원 내 휴식 공간인 푸른쉼터에서 다양한 꽃을 직접 심으며 한층 화사한 분위기를 만들었다. 환자와 보호자들이 자주 찾는 공간인 만큼 직원들의 손길 하나하나에 정성이 담겼다. 이어 병원 건물 안쪽부터 주변 도로까지 부서별로 구역을 나눠 구석구석 깨끗이 정리하며 환경정화 활동의 의미를 더했다.
김영규 청주의료원장은 "전 직원이 함께 환경 정화 활동에 나서며 환경의 소중함을 되새기는 뜻깊은 시간이었다"며 "앞으로도 이러한 활동을 꾸준히 이어가며 환자와 보호자, 지역 주민 모두가 편안하게 찾을 수 있는 깨끗한 병원을 만들어 나가겠다"고 말했다.

Cheongju Medical Center Conducts Environmental Cleanup Activity for Arbor Day
On April 3, ahead of the upcoming 81st Arbor Day, Cheongju Medical Center held an environmental cleanup activity with the participation of all staff.
