이번에 위촉된 결산검사 위원들은 3일부터 22일까지 20일간의 일정으로 2025회계연도 세입·세출 결산, 기금, 재무제표, 성과보고서 등 예산·재무회계 전반에 대해 점검하고 검사의견서를 제출할 예정이다.
결산검사 위원은 앞서 3월 24일 열린 제343회 단양군의회 임시회 제1차 본회의에서 선임됐으며, 강미숙 의원(대표위원)과 김영길 의원, 이철희 전 행정복지국장, 김덕룡 전 보건위생과장, 천병철 전 관광건설국장, 김선기 전 재무과장 등 총 6명으로 구성됐다.
강미숙 대표위원은 “군민의 소중한 세금이 적정하고 효율적으로 집행되었는지 면밀히 점검하고, 재정 운영의 문제점과 개선사항을 꼼꼼히 살펴 실질적인 개선으로 이어질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
이상훈 의장은 “결산검사는 한 해 재정 운영을 되짚어보는 중요한 과정”이라며 “투명하고 공정한 검사를 통해 건전한 재정 운영 기반을 마련하고, 군민이 신뢰할 수 있는 행정이 이루어질 수 있도록 역할을 다해 주시길 바란다”고 말했다.
