천안·공주·아산 등 충남 전역 경선 대진표 확정으로 선거 열기 고조
제9회 전국동시지방선거를 앞두고 국민의힘 충남도당이 지역 일꾼을 뽑기 위한 경선 대진표를 확정하며 본격적인 공천 레이스에 돌입했다.
국민의힘 충남도당 공천관리위원회(이하 공관위)는 제9차 공관위 회의를 열고 충남 지역 광역의원 15개 선거구와 기초의원(비례대표 포함) 35개 선거구에 대한 경선 후보자를 최종 확정했다고 밝혔다.
광역의원 경선은 총 15개 선거구에서 35명의 후보가 맞붙는다.
주요 경선 지역은 ▲천안 3 ▲공주 1 ▲보령 1 ▲아산 3·5·6 ▲서산 1·3 ▲논산 2 ▲부여 1·2 ▲청양 ▲홍성 2 ▲예산 2 ▲태안 1 선거구 등이다.
이번 발표에 따라 충남 도의회 입성을 노리는 후보들 간의 당내 경쟁이 더욱 치열해질 전망이다. 특히 아산과 서산 등 후보군이 두터운 지역을 중심으로 당원과 지역민의 표심을 잡기 위한 각축전이 예상된다.
