지난 4일, 연분홍 꽃비가 내린 세종특별자치시 금남면 부용리 일대는 십 리에 걸친 벚꽃 터널을 만끽하려는 상춘객들로 발 디딜 틈이 없었다.
‘제5회 금남면 강변벚꽃십리길 축제’가 열린 현장은 단순한 꽃구경을 넘어, 주민들이 직접 빚어낸 문화의 향기로 가득 찼다. 침체된 지역 경기에 생기를 불어넣고 금남면만의 숨은 매력을 알리기 위해 기획한 이번 축제는 시종일관 활기찬 에너지와 웃음소리가 끊이지 않았다.
