[브레이크뉴스경기남부=여주 이현준기자] 여주문화원은 6일부터 한 달간 우리가 찾는 여주인 추천 공모를 진행한다.
이번 공모는 시민참여 활성화 프로젝트의 일환으로 지역의 숨은 인물을 발굴하여 2028년 발간 예정인 여주시사 인물편에 수록하기 위해 마련됐다. 추천 대상은 2026년 현재 기준 사망한 인물 중 여주 출신이거나 연고, 활동, 묘소, 관직 역임 등 여주와 관련이 있는 인물이다. 기존 여주군사에 수록된 인물은 제외되나 내용의 수정이나 보완이 필요한 경우에는 추천이 가능하다.
접수된 인물은 인물 선정위원회의 심의를 거쳐 최종 선정되며 여주시사 인물편 수록 시 추천자의 이름도 함께 표기될 예정이다. 참여자에게는 소정의 기념품이 제공된다.
추천 접수는 네이버 폼을 통해 온라인으로 진행하며 자세한 사항은 여주시사 편찬위원회 블로그를 확인하거나 여주시사편찬실로 문의하면 안내받을 수 있다.
