안양시가 퇴원 환자의 지역사회 복귀부터 복약 관리까지 책임지는 의료·약료 통합돌봄 체계를 본격 가동한다.
안양시는 6일 시청 접견실에서 관내 8개 의료기관과 약사회와 함께 ‘다제 약물 복약 지원 및 퇴원 환자 지역사회 연계 사업’ 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 지난달 27일 시행된 「의료·요양 등 지역 돌봄의 통합지원에 관한 법률」에 맞춰 추진됐다. 병원 치료 이후 돌봄 공백을 최소화하고, 만성질환자의 안전한 복약 관리를 지원하는 데 목적이 있다.
협약에는 한림대학교성심병원, 안양샘병원, 메트로병원, 아벤스병원, 성심힐요양병원, 그린재활의학과병원, 시대병원, 안양윌스기념병원 등 8개 의료기관과 안양시 약사회 소속 약국 20여 곳이 참여했다.
앞으로 참여 기관들은 통합돌봄 대상자에 대한 복약 지도와 약물 점검을 공동으로 수행하고, 퇴원을 앞둔 환자를 선제적으로 발굴해 지역사회 돌봄 서비스로 연계하는 데 협력하게 된다.
그동안 퇴원 환자들은 가정 복귀 이후 사후 관리나 복약 관리에 어려움을 겪는 경우가 많았다. 이번 협약으로 병원이 돌봄 필요 환자를 시에 연계하면, 시는 맞춤형 통합돌봄 서비스를 제공하고 약사회는 전문 복약 지도를 지원하는 유기적 협력체계가 구축된다.
시는 이번 사업을 통해 의료와 돌봄 서비스가 하나로 연결되면서 시민들이 체감하는 복지 수준이 한층 향상될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
시 관계자는 “의료기관과 약사회 간 협력으로 더욱 촘촘한 지역 돌봄 체계를 마련했다”며 “앞으로도 안양형 통합돌봄 모델을 지속적으로 발전시켜 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
