대구시선관위는 7일 ‘정당 업무협의회’를 열고 지방선거 주요 일정과 유의사항을 공유하는 한편, 정당 간 협력 방안을 논의했다고 밝혔다.
이날 회의에는 더불어민주당, 국민의힘, 조국혁신당, 진보당, 개혁신당, 기본소득당 등 6개 정당 대구시당 사무처장을 비롯한 당직자와 선관위 관계자 등 13명이 참석했다.
회의에서는 ▲지방선거 주요 사무 일정 ▲선거인 교통편의 제공 및 중증장애인 이동 지원 ▲사전투표·개표 참관인 신고 등 참관 절차 ▲투·개표 관리 과정 ▲선거 관련 정당 활동 안내사항 등이 중점적으로 다뤄졌다. 아울러 각 정당의 건의사항을 청취하고 선거 운영과 관련한 현안에 대해 의견을 교환했다.
참석자들은 이어 정당 간 진영 대결이 아닌 정책과 공약 중심의 선거 문화를 정착시키자는 취지의 피켓 퍼포먼스를 진행하며 정책선거 실현 의지를 다졌다.
대구시선관위는 최근 부정선거 의혹 제기 등으로 선거 환경이 녹록지 않은 상황에서도 국민 눈높이에 부합하는 공정하고 정확한 선거 관리를 위해 노력하고 있다고 강조했다.
선관위 관계자는 “공정한 선거가 치러질 수 있도록 각 정당에서도 적극적인 관심과 협조를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
