한국한의약진흥원(원장 고호연)은 지난 3일 한의약 관련 기업 영향 점검회의를 온라인으로 개최하고, 중동 사태가 국내 한의약 산업과 의료기기 분야에 미칠 영향을 사전에 점검했다고 밝혔다.
이번 회의에는 한국한의산업진흥협회와 의료기기 기업 관계자 등이 참석해 현장 애로사항을 공유하고 대응 방안을 논의했다. 주요 점검 내용은 △나프타 등 석유화학 기반 원자재 수급 불안 △완제품 수출 및 항공·해상 물류 차질 △해외 바이어 발주 및 결제 지연 가능성 등이다.
참석자들은 중동 사태 장기화 가능성에 대비해 ‘중동 사태 위기 대응 한의약기업 안심접수센터’를 중심으로 상시 모니터링 체계를 구축하고, 기업 애로 발생 시 신속 대응에 나서기로 했다.
한의약 기업은 원자재 수급 문제나 수출·물류 차질, 계약 지연 등 어려움이 발생할 경우 해당 접수센터를 통해 상담을 요청할 수 있으며, 접수된 사항은 관계부처 및 유관기관과 협력해 대응이 이뤄질 예정이다.
고호연 한국한의약진흥원장은 “안심접수센터 운영을 통해 산업 현장의 목소리를 상시적으로 파악하고, 위기 징후 발생 시 정부 및 관련 기관과 협력해 신속히 대응하겠다”고 말했다.

Representatives from the Korea Association of Oriental Medicine Industry Promotion and medical device companies attended the meeting to share on-site difficulties and discuss response measures. Key areas of inspection included: instability in the supply of petrochemical-based raw materials such as naphtha; disruptions in finished product exports and air/sea logistics; and the possibility of delays in orders and payments from overseas buyers.
In preparation for the possibility of a prolonged Middle East crisis, participants agreed to establish a continuous monitoring system centered on the "Middle East Crisis Response Center for Oriental Medicine Companies" and to take swift action in the event of corporate difficulties. Korean medicine companies can request consultation through the designated reception center if they encounter difficulties such as raw material supply issues, disruptions in exports or logistics, or contract delays. Responses to received matters will be handled in cooperation with relevant ministries and agencies.
Ko Ho-yeon, President of the Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine, stated, "Through the operation of the Safe Reception Center, we will constantly monitor the voices from the industry and respond swiftly in cooperation with the government and related agencies when signs of a crisis arise."
