안양시의 대표적인 봄꽃 축제인 ‘2026 안양충훈벚꽃축제’가 오는 4월 11일부터 12일까지 이틀간 만안구 충훈동 일대에서 화려하게 펼쳐진다.
안양시는 충훈벚꽃길과 충훈2교 하부, 석수로 일대를 중심으로 공연, 체험, 먹거리가 어우러진 시민 참여형 축제를 선보일 계획이라고 8일 밝혔다.
축제 첫날인 11일 저녁에는 충훈2교 메인무대에서 ‘벚꽃콘서트’가 열린다. 가수 이규석, 정다운, 윤희와 개그우먼 김현영 등이 출연해 봄밤의 낭만을 더할 예정이다. 이어 12일에는 엄격한 예선을 거친 16개 팀이 실력을 겨루는 ‘제3회 벚꽃가요제’ 본선이 개최돼 시민들이 직접 주인공이 되는 무대를 꾸민다.
방문객들이 안전하고 쾌적하게 벚꽃을 감상할 수 있도록 충훈2교부터 와룡로 1 구간은 ‘차 없는 거리’로 지정된다. 이곳에서는 어린이들을 위한 마술·풍선쇼를 비롯해 인디밴드, 7080 음악, 클래식 공연 등 전 세대를 아우르는 다양한 거리 공연이 펼쳐진다.
또한, 벚꽃길 전 구간에 ‘뮤직 스트리트’를 조성해 축제의 흥겨움을 더하며, 행사장 곳곳에는 다채로운 체험 부스와 푸드트럭존, 소울음아트센터 작품 전시 등이 마련되어 방문객들의 오감을 사로잡을 전망이다.
