대구대학교 대학일자리플러스센터는 지난 4월 7일부터 오는 6월 9일까지 대구 중구 중심상권 일대에서 ‘찾아가는 졸업생 맞춤 취업컨설팅’을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 대학 캠퍼스의 지리적 한계로 취업 지원 서비스 이용에 어려움을 겪어온 미취업 졸업생과 지역 청년들의 접근성을 높이기 위해 마련됐다. 센터는 반월당 인근 등 대구 도심의 스터디카페를 거점으로 설정하고, 구직자들이 보다 편리하게 참여할 수 있도록 현장 중심의 상담 서비스를 제공한다.
지원 대상은 미취업 졸업생과 졸업유예자, 지역 청년 등으로, 참여자들은 기업 유형과 직무별 채용 절차에 대한 체계적인 안내를 받을 수 있다. 또한 입사지원서 작성 및 첨삭 지도 등 1대1 집중 컨설팅이 진행돼 실질적인 취업 역량 강화에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
이와 함께 개인별 진로 설계 지원과 졸업생 특화 프로그램, 각종 청년고용정책 안내도 병행해 구직자들의 종합적인 취업 준비를 지원한다.
김중호 대구대학교 취업지원팀장은 “물리적 거리로 인해 취업 지원을 받기 어려웠던 청년들에게 실질적인 구직 기회를 제공하고자 이번 프로그램을 기획했다”며 “앞으로도 미취업 졸업생과 지역 청년들의 취업률 제고를 위한 사후 관리 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

The Center has established study cafes in downtown Daegu, such as near Banwoldang, as bases and provides on-site counseling services to allow job seekers to participate more conveniently.
Target participants include unemployed graduates, those deferring graduation, and local youth. Participants will receive systematic guidance on recruitment procedures by company type and job function. In addition, intensive one-on-one consulting, including guidance on writing and editing job applications, is being provided, which is expected to help strengthen practical employment capabilities.
Along with this, the program supports job seekers' comprehensive job preparation by providing individual career planning support, specialized programs for graduates, and guidance on various youth employment policies.
Kim Joong-ho, Head of the Employment Support Team at Daegu University, said, "We planned this program to provide practical job opportunities to young people who had difficulty receiving employment support due to physical distance," adding, "We will continue to expand follow-up management programs to improve the employment rates of unemployed graduates and local youth."
