이번 프로그램은 휴양림 숙박객과 방문객을 대상으로 하는 치유형 체험 ‘쉬멍휴멍’ 숲길 프로그램으로, 매주 화·목요일 오전 9시 30분부터 11시 30분까지 진행된다. 체험 비용은 무료이며, 사전예약제로 2명 이상 15명 이하 단체를 대상으로 선착순 모집한다.
이와 함께 연중 상시 운영되는 체험 프로그램도 마련됐다. 상시 프로그램은 솔방울 컬링, 시화 QR퀴즈, 압화엽서 만들기 등으로 구성되며, 별도 예약 없이 방문객 누구나 자유롭게 참여할 수 있다.
‘쉬멍휴멍’ 숲길체험은 숲길등산지도사의 인솔 아래 휴양림 내 치유의 숲길과 유리온실을 탐방하며, 동·식물과 지형에 대한 해설을 듣고 다양한 체험활동을 병행하는 방식으로 운영된다.
김주수 의성군수는 “금봉자연휴양림은 때 묻지 않은 자연경관과 다양한 숲 체험시설을 갖춘 휴식 공간”이라며 “앞으로도 지역 주민과 방문객이 자연 속에서 힐링할 수 있도록 특색 있는 산림복지 서비스를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Uiseong County (County Governor Kim Ju-su)’s Geumbong Natural Recreation Forest will operate a forest trail experience program with guided hiking instructors during the first half of 2026 (April to June).
This program is a healing-oriented experience called ‘Shimyeong-Hyumyeong’ forest trail program targeting overnight guests and visitors. It will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The experience is free of charge, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis for groups of 2 to 15 people via advance reservation.
In addition, year-round experience programs have been prepared. These regular programs include pine cone curling, poetry and painting QR quizzes, and pressed flower postcard making, and are open to all visitors without separate reservations.
The ‘Shimyeong-Hyumyeong’ forest trail experience is operated by having participants explore the healing forest trails and glass greenhouses within the recreation forest under the guidance of a forest trail hiking guide, while listening to explanations about the flora, fauna, and terrain and engaging in various hands-on activities.
