(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 남동구가 8일, 저소득 장애인의 안전하고 편리한 주거환경 조성을 위해 ‘2026년 장애인주택 개조사업’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.
남동구에 따르면, 이번 사업은 저소득 장애인이 거주하는 주택에 편의시설 및 안전장치를 지원해 일상생활에서의 이동 안전과 활동 편의를 높이는 취지이다.
남동구는 올해 총 17가구를 대상으로 사업을 추진할 예정이며, 가구당 최대 380만 원 범위에서 주택 내 편의시설 및 안전장치 설치를 지원한다.
지원 항목은 주택 내 장애인 생활 편의 증진을 위한 시설을 중심으로, 안전 손잡이 설치, 문턱 제거, 청각장애인용 초인등 설치, 가스 안전 차단기 설치, LED 조명 교체, 냉·난방기 설치 등이다.
지원대상은 등록 장애인 가구 중 전년도 도시근로자 가구당 월평균 소득액 이하인 가구로, 기준은 1인 가구 381만 원 이하, 2인 가구 586만 원 이하 등이다.
다만, 국가·지방자치단체·공공기관·금융기관 등으로부터 동일하거나 유사한 주택 개조 지원(비용 융자 포함)을 받고 3년이 지나지 않은 경우에는 지원대상에서 제외된다.
사업 신청을 희망하는 대상자는 거주지 동 행정복지센터를 방문해 신청할 수 있다.
