(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 9일, 봄 나들이철 야외 활동 증가에 대비해 지난 3월 23일부터 4월 3일까지 2주간 관내 등산로, 공원, 관광지 주변의 식품접객업소 및 농·축산물 제조·판매업소를 대상으로 원산지 표시 위반 및 축산물 관련 위법행위에 대한 기획수사를 실시해 총 12개소를 적발했다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 단속은 봄철 나들이 명소 방문객 증가에 따라 음식점 이용과 소시지, 돼지고기 등 축산물 소비가 늘어나는 시기에 맞춰 부정유통을 방지하고 먹거리 안전을 확보하기 위해 추진됐다.
수사 결과, 자가품질검사를 실시하지 않는 등 검사 기준을 위반한 축산물 제조·판매업소 2개소, 소비기한 및 제조일자 등 필수 표시사항을 누락한 축산물 판매업소 1개소, 축산물판매업 신고 없이 영업한 정육식당형 음식점 1개소가 적발됐다.
또한, 음식점 3개소는 축산물 거래명세서 보관 의무를 이행하지 않았으며, 음식점 5개소는 배추김치와 돼지고기 등의 원산지를 표시하지 않아 과태료 처분을 받을 예정이다.
‘식품 등의 표시·광고에 관한 법률’에 따라 축산물 표시사항 미표시 행위는 3년 이하의 징역 또는 3천만 원 이하의 벌금형에 처해질 수 있다.
또, ‘축산물 위생관리법’에 따른 자가품질검사 위반과 축산물판매업 무신고 영업은 1년 이하의 징역 또는 1천만 원 이하의 벌금형에 해당한다.
