(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시 관내 소상공인에 대한 체계적인 지원 강화 와 통합 지원체계 구축을 위해 기존 제물포스마트타운에 위치한 인천소상공인종합지원센터(이하 센터)를 소상공인복합클러스터(서구 봉오재3로 140)로 이전한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 이전은 단순한 공간 이동이 아닌 소상공인 지원기관과 기능을 한 곳에 집적해 분산된 지원체계를 통합하고 원스톱 지원 환경을 구축하는 데 목적이 있다.
소상공인복합클러스터는 지상 8층, 지하 2층 규모(연면적 1만 4,932㎡)로 인천신용보증재단 본점 및 지점과 센터, 지역 소상공인 관련 단체 및 공공기관 등이 입주하는 복합시설로, 인천신용보증재단은 이미 입주를 완료해 운영 중이며, 센터는 4월 13일부터 본격적인 업무를 시작할 예정이다.
관련 기관이 한 공간에 집적됨에 따라 창업, 경영 개선, 상권 활성화, 금융·복지 지원 등 다양한 지원 기능이 유기적으로 연계되며 소상공인은 기관별로 방문해야 하는 불편 없이 한 곳에서 상담부터 지원까지 받을 수 있게 된다.

인천시에 따르면, 이번 사업은 인천 지역 중소기업의 인공지능 기술 도입 및 고도화를 지원하기 위해 마련됐으며, 인공지능 기술개발, 인공지능 사업화, 인공지능 전환 컨설팅, 인공지능 전환 지원(인공지능 내재화) 등 4개 세부 프로그램으로 구성된다.
