(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 남동구가 9일, 최근 본청 은행나무홀에서 ‘구민 소통 동(洞) 방문 건의 사항 추진상황 보고회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
남동구에 따르면, 이번 보고회는 박종효 구청장이 직접 주재하고 관련 간부 공무원이 참석한 가운데 2025~2026년 ‘구청장 구민 소통 동(洞) 방문’에서 접수된 건의 사항과 관련해 부서별 추진현황, 추진상의 애로사항 및 향후 계획 등을 점검․논의했다.
지난 2025~2026년 동 방문 행사에선 직접 동 행정복지센터와 경로당, 민생현장을 방문해 구민의 생생한 의견을 청취하고, 총 350건의 건의 사항을 수렴했다.
이후 건의 사항 해소를 위해 적극 검토 및 추진한 결과 현재 총 210건(60%)이 완료됐으며, 추진 중 123건(35%), 불가 17건(5%)으로 집계됐다.
분야별로 보면 주민 여가생활과 밀접한 공원·녹지 분야의 건의 사항이 58건으로 가장 많았고, 주민의 생활 불편과 관련한 도로와 주차 분야가 각각 42건, 32건이 접수돼 생활에서 체감할 수 있는 소규모 숙원사업에 대한 주민의 관심을 확인할 수 있었다.
보고를 받은 박종효 남동구청장은 “이번 보고회를 통해 구민들이 생활 속에서 느끼는 긍정적인 변화야말로 구가 계속 추구해야 할 목표라는 점을 다시 한번 확인할 수 있었다”며 “앞으로도 현장의 목소리에 귀 기울이며 손톱 밑 가시 같은 작은 불편 사항도 세심히 살펴 주민이 체감하는 변화로 이어질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
이어“관련 부서는 추진 중인 건의 사항이 신속하게 해결될 수 있도록 적극적으로 힘써주길 바란다.”고 당부했다.
