【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=보은교육도서관은 오는 4월 12일(일)부터 18일(토)까지 ‘도서관의 날·도서관주간’을 맞아 지역 주민의 독서문화 확산을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 운영한다고 밝혔다.
도서관주간은 도서관의 가치와 필요성을 알리고 지역사회와 함께하는 문화공간으로서의 역할을 강화하기 위해 매년 전국적으로 추진되는 행사이다.
올해는 ‘도서관 속 작은 펼침, 세상을 여는 큰 열림’을 주제로 남녀노소 누구나 참여할 수 있는 다채로운 프로그램을 마련했다.
행사 기간 동안 공연·전시·체험 등 가족 단위 참여가 가능한 프로그램이 운영된다. 도서관의 날인 4월 12일에는 미디어와 풍선아트를 결합한 ‘상상력이 몽실몽실 풍선 매직쇼’가 열리고, 4월 18일에는 ‘봄이 톡! 벚꽃 이야기’ 강의가 진행된다. 참가자들은 도서 「벚꽃 팝콘」을 함께 읽고 독후 활동도 체험할 수 있다.
전시 프로그램으로는 허은미 작가의 「백만마리 원숭이」 원화 전시가 마련되며, ‘원숭이 가면 만들기’ 체험이 함께 운영된다. 이와 함께 ▲사서 추천 북큐레이션 ▲마음글 필사 체험 ▲나의 인생책 나무 전시 등 참여형 프로그램도 진행된다.

보은교육도서관 관계자는 “가족이 함께 도서관을 친근한 일상 공간으로 느끼고 자연스럽게 독서를 즐기는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 복합문화공간으로서 도서관의 역할을 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
