세종시사회서비스원, ESG 기반 임직원 환경교육 가져

세종시사회서비스원은 9일 본원에서 임직원을 대상으로 한 환경교육을 가졌다고 밝혔다. 

정부의 탄소중립 정책과 ESG(Environment·Social·Governance) 경영 실천 일환으로 마련된 이번 교육은 임직원 30명이 참여했으며 세종시환경교육센터 소속 차정형 환경교육사가 ‘지구를 살리는 맛있는 식탁, 저탄소 음식문화 실천’을 주제로 진행됐다.

이날 교육은 단순 강의가 아닌 참여형 중심 수업으로 이루어졌다.

특히 교구를 활용한 체험활동과 저탄소 밥상 차리기 실습, 생활 속 실천 아이디어 공유 등 직접 참여하고 체험하는 방식으로 구성되어 교육 몰입도를 높였다고 한다

교육 참여자들이 직접 저탄소 식단을 구성해보고 실천 방법을 고민하는 과정에서, 환경보전 인식이 자연스럽게 향상되고 일상 속 행동 변화로 이어질 수 있는 계기를 마련했다는 게 사회서비스원측 설명이다.

사회서비스원 관계자는 “참여형 교육을 통해 임직원들이 환경문제를 보다 쉽게 이해하고 실천으로 연결할 수 있었다”며 “앞으로도 ESG 기반의 지속가능한 가치 확산을 위해 체험 중심 교육을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
