<브레이크뉴스 포천 = 김형렬 기자> 포천시가 지역 안보와 생활 속 재난 대응의 핵심인 '2026년 민방위 집합교육'을 성공적으로 마무리하며 지역 안전망을 한층 강화했다.
포천시는 지난달 30일부터 이달 9일까지 포천시여성회관에서 관내 1~2년차 민방위 대원 약 1,500명을 대상으로 집합교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
총 4시간 과정으로 진행된 이번 교육은 이론에만 치우치지 않고, 실제 위기 상황에서 즉각적으로 대처할 수 있는 '실전형' 커리큘럼에 방점을 찍었다. 대원들은 민방위의 기본 임무와 역할을 숙지하는 것은 물론, 응급처치, 심폐소생술(CPR), 지혈 및 부목법 등 생명과 직결된 실습 교육에 구슬땀을 흘렸다. 아울러 화생방 대응 요령과 화재 및 지진 발생 시 대피 매뉴얼 등 생활 밀착형 안전 교육도 병행됐다.

특히 시는 평일 생업으로 인해 참석이 어려운 대원들을 배려해 주말 교육을 별도로 편성, 교육 참여의 문턱을 크게 낮춰 대원들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
한편, 3년차 이상 대원들은 스마트 모바일 전자고지 시스템을 통한 사이버 교육으로 이수하게 된다. 이번 본교육 일정에 참석하지 못한 대원들에게는 오는 9월과 11월 두 차례에 걸쳐 보충교육의 기회가 제공된다. 상세 일정은 국민재난안전포털을 통해 확인 가능하며, 타 지역 거주자도 체류 지역에서 보충교육을 받을 수 있다.
