<브레이크뉴스 강릉 = 남상훈 기자> 강릉시 주문진읍에 대학생들의 따뜻한 재능기부가 더해진 '사랑의 빵' 향기가 널리 퍼지고 있다.
주문진읍 지역사회보장협의체는 지난 9일 강원도립대학교와 손잡고 지역 내 소외된 이웃을 위한 재능기부 나눔 캠페인인 ‘빵으로 잇는 주문진(이하 빵·잇·주)’ 사업을 성황리에 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 ‘빵·잇·주’ 사업은 강원도립대 바리스타제과제빵과 학생들이 전공을 살려 손수 구워낸 빵을 지역 취약계층에게 전달하는 뜻깊은 민관학 협력 프로젝트다. 이날 협의체 위원들을 통해 배부된 300여 개의 빵에는 학생들의 따뜻한 정성과 위로가 고스란히 담겨 나눔의 의미를 더했다.
최종균 강원도립대학교 총장과 최근표 바리스타제과제빵과 교수는 “우리 학생들이 배운 기술로 정성껏 빚어낸 빵이 이웃들에게 작게나마 기쁨과 위로가 되길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 대학이 지역사회와 호흡하고 온기를 나눌 수 있는 다채로운 공헌 활동을 꾸준히 발굴해 나가겠다”고 전했다.
조태란 주문진읍장 역시 “지역 대학의 적극적인 협력 덕분에 학생들은 재능 기부의 참된 보람을 느끼고, 취약계층은 따뜻한 이웃의 정을 느낄 수 있는 뜻깊은 시간이 마련됐다”며, “향후에도 관내 학교 및 유관 기관들과 긴밀히 소통하며 촘촘한 지역사회 복지망을 구축하는 데 앞장서겠다”고 화답했다.
