브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차는 특장업체를 위한 상용차 기술정보 플랫폼 ‘현대 컨버전 플러스’를 오픈했다고 10일 밝혔다.
기존 국내 업체를 대상으로 운영하던 상용 기술정보 포털을 대폭 개편한 ‘현대 컨버전 플러스’는 특장업체들의 의견을 반영해 사용자 편의성을 강화했으며, 국내는 물론 유럽, 아시아, 중남미, 아프리카, 중동 등 전세계 약 120개국에서 15개 언어로 이용 가능해 글로벌 시장 접근성을 높였다.
‘현대 컨버전 플러스’에서는 바디빌더 매뉴얼 (Body Builder Manual), 바디빌더 드로잉(Body Builder Drawing), 법규 인증 자료 등의 상용차 기술정보를 지원한다.
특히, 기존 평면 형태의 2D 도면에 더해 입체적인 3D 도면도 제공함으로써, 특장차 제작 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 설계 오류를 최소화하고 품질과 안전을 향상시킬 수 있도록 했다.
아울러 소형부터 대형에 이르는 전 상용 차종에 대한 차종별 통합검색 기능을 추가했으며, 특장업체가 필요한 정보를 편리하게 관리 및 활용할 수 있는 마이페이지 기능을 제공한다.
기존 PC 접속은 물론 스마트폰 등 모바일 기기를 통해서도 플랫폼 이용이 가능하도록 해 활용성을 높였다.
이번 플랫폼 오픈에 맞춰 현장에서 발생하는 기술적인 이슈에 신속히 대응하기 위해 해외 현지법인과 본사, 연구소를 잇는 ‘테크니컬 핫라인’도 구축해 운영할 예정이다.
현대차는 ‘현대 컨버전 플러스’가 글로벌 특장업체와 양방향 소통을 기반으로 특장차 제작 전반에 걸친 생태계를 구축하고 동반성장을 도모하는 플랫폼이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
