(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 10일, 한국매니페스토실천본부 주관 ‘민선8기 기초단체장 공약이행 및 정보공개 평가’에서 인천 10개 군·구 중 유일하게 4년 연속 최우수(SA)를 받았다고 밝혔다.
부평구에 따르면 한국매니페스토실천본부는 지난 1월부터 전국 226개 기초자치단체를 대상으로 실시한 ‘2026 전국 민선8기 기초단체장 공약이행 및 정보공개 평가’ 결과를 발표했다.
이번 평가는 전국 기초지방자치단체를 대상으로 공약 누리집에 공개한 공약자료 등을 바탕으로 민선8기 3년차 공약이행에 대한 정보를 종합적으로 평가했다.
평가 항목은 공약이행 완료(100점), 2025년 목표달성(100점), 주민소통(100점,) 웹소통(Pass/Fail), 일치도(Pass/Fail)까지 5개 분야로 매니페스토 평가단은 항목별 세부 지표에 따라 평가를 진행했다.
한국매니페스토실천본부는 각 항목별 점수를 합산한 뒤 100점 만점 기준으로 환산, 총점 90점 이상을 기록한 기초자치단체에게 최우수 등급을 부여했다.
이와 관련, 부평구는 2025년 말 기준 공약 추진율은 90.1%이며, 총 49개 사업을 완료해 공약 이행률 70%를 기록했다.
또한, 공약의 일부 추진이나 보류·폐기 없이 전반적으로 충실하게 이행된 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
앞서 부평구는 민선 8기 비전 ‘참여+나눔, 더불어 사는 따뜻한 부평’을 바탕으로 6대 분야 70개 공약을 추진한 바 있다.
부평구 관계자는 “구민과의 약속인 공약 이행을 위해 직원들과 공약이행평가단이 함께 고민하고, 주민과 적극적으로 소통한 결과 4년 연속 최고 등급이라는 성과로 이어졌다”며 “앞으로도 구민의 의견에 귀 기울이며 더 큰 부평으로 나아갈 수 있도록 약속을 끝까지 실천하겠다”고 말했다.
