(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 오는 21일까지 온라인 시민 정책제안 플랫폼 ‘부천, 제안핸썹’을 통해 ‘부천 RCE 비전 시민 제안 공모’를 추진한다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이번 공모는 UN대학의 지속가능발전교육 거점도시(RCE) 공식 인증을 준비하는 과정에서 시민의 의견을 정책에 반영하기 위해 마련됐으며, 시민이 지속가능발전교육 개념을 쉽게 이해하고 정책 과정에 참여하도록 기획됐다.
지속가능발전은 환경, 사회, 경제 전반을 아우르는 개념으로 시민 인식 확산이 핵심이며, 시는 이번 공모를 통해 시민의 정책 이해도와 참여도를 동시에 높일 계획이다.
부천시는 대한민국 대표 문화도시이자 웹툰 중심도시라는 강점을 살려 웹툰 콘텐츠 기반 홍보도 병행한다.
웹툰을 통해 다소 어렵게 느껴질 수 있는 RCE 개념을 쉽고 친근하게 전달해 시민이 자연스럽게 지속가능발전교육을 접하고 공모에 참여하도록 유도한다.
공모는 객관식 퀴즈와 시민 제안 두 분야로 진행하며, 객관식 퀴즈는 RCE의 목적과 역할을 이해할 수 있도록 구성했다.
시민 제안은 부천의 지속가능한 미래 비전과 실천 방안을 자유롭게 제시하는 방식으로 시민은 웹툰과 퀴즈를 통해 학습하고, 이어지는 제안으로 구체적인 아이디어를 제시하게 된다.
참여를 희망하는 시민은 부천시 홈페이지 내 ‘부천, 제안핸썹’ 플랫폼에 접속해 네이버 폼으로 제출하면 된다.
부천시는 참여자 중 50명을 추첨해 5월 중 모바일 음료 쿠폰을 지급한다.
수렴된 시민 의견은 UN대학 RCE 인증 추진 과정과 향후 정책 수립에 반영될 예정이다.
