[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산 사하구 북형제도 인근 해상에서 50대 선장이 실종되어 해경이 경비함정과 항공기를 총동원해 수색에 나섰다.
부산해양경찰서는 12일 오전 5시 32분경 사하구 북형제도 동쪽 약 2km 해역에서 승선원 없이 표류 중인 연안자망 어선 A호(2.99톤, 다대 선적)를 발견하고, 실종된 선장 B씨(53세)를 찾기 위한 구조 작업을 진행 중이라고 밝혔다.
해경에 따르면 이날 새벽 B씨의 가족으로부터 연락이 닿지 않는다는 신고가 접수됐으며, 곧이어 인근 어선 C호가 사람이 없는 상태로 표류 중인 A호를 발견해 해경에 신고했다.
이에 해경은 경비함정과 연안구조정, 중앙해양특수구조단, 헬기 등을 현장으로 급파해 사고 해역 일대를 집중 수색하고 있다. 수색 작업에는 어업관리단 무궁화호와 민간 구조대 선박 4척도 동원됐다.

조사 결과 A호는 전날 오후 6시 26분경 출항한 것으로 확인됐으며, 발견 당시 선체에 충돌 흔적은 없었다. 표류하던 A호는 민간 어선의 도움을 받아 이날 오전 7시 33분경 다대항으로 예인됐다.
해경은 모든 가용 인력과 장비를 동원해 실종자 구조를 최우선으로 진행하는 한편, 주변 선박과 가족 등을 상대로 정확한 사고 경위를 조사하고 있다.

The Coast Guard has launched a full-scale search operation using patrol vessels and aircraft after a captain in his 50s went missing from a fishing boat found drifting near Buk-hyeongjedo.**
The Busan Coast Guard announced on the 12th that they received a report at approximately 5:32 AM regarding an unmanned fishing vessel, Boat A (a 2.99-ton coastal gillnetter registered in Dadae), drifting about 2km east of Buk-hyeongjedo in Saha-gu. They are currently focusing all efforts on locating the missing captain, Mr. B (born in 1971).
According to the Coast Guard, the search began after Mr. B's family reported that they could not reach him by phone. Shortly after, at 5:34 AM, a nearby fishing vessel, Boat C, reported finding Boat A drifting without anyone on board.
In response, the Coast Guard dispatched patrol vessels, coastal rescue boats, the Central Special Maritime Rescue Unit, helicopters from the Busan Air Base, and the Mugunghwa fisheries management vessel to search the area. Four private vessels from the Maritime Disaster Rescue Team are also supporting the operation.
Boat A had departed from port at approximately 6:26 PM the previous day (the 11th), and no signs of collision were found on the hull when it was discovered. With the assistance of a private fishing vessel, Boat A was towed to Dadae Port at 7:33 AM today.
The Coast Guard is prioritizing the rescue of the missing person by mobilizing all available personnel and equipment, while simultaneously investigating the exact circumstances of the accident through interviews with the family and operators of nearby vessels.
