(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 13일, 시의 대표적인 문화재생 시설인 ‘부천아트벙커B39’(이하 아트벙커B39)가 문화체육관광부가 선정하는 ‘제2기 로컬100(지역문화매력 100선)’에 이름을 올렸다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, ‘로컬100’은 지역 고유의 문화자원과 콘텐츠를 발굴해 국내외에 알리기 위해 추진하는 사업으로, 이번 2기 선정은 국민과 지방자치단체의 추천으로 접수된 1천 42건을 대상으로 온라인 투표와 전문가 심사를 거쳐 이뤄졌다.
아트벙커B39는 지난 1기(2024~2025년)에 이어 2기(2026~2027년)에도 선정되며 문화재생 공간으로서의 경쟁력과 상징성을 다시 한번 입증했다.
이 시설은 폐산업시설의 구조와 흔적을 보존하면서 문화예술 공간으로 재탄생한 대표적인 문화재생 공간이다.
벙커, 벙커브릿지, 응축수 탱크 등 기존 시설의 특성을 살린 독창적인 공간 구성은 시민과 방문객에게 차별화된 문화 경험을 제공한다.
아울러 전시와 공연, 투어 프로그램을 운영하는 한편 영화와 드라마, 뮤직비디오 촬영지로도 활용되며 복합문화공간으로 기능하고 있다.
