군은 3월 10일 국토교통부 승인을 받아 신축 매입약정형 임대주택 50호 공급 계획 가운데 1차로 20호에 대한 국비 9억 5400만 원을 확보했다고 밝혔다.
해당 사업은 민간이 주택을 신축하면 지자체가 이를 매입해 임대주택으로 공급하는 방식으로, 초기 공급 속도를 높이고 사업 실행력을 확보할 수 있는 것이 특징이다.
이번 매입약정형 주택 50호에 기존 145세대(청년타운 45세대, 청년가족맞춤주택 24세대, 청년농촌보금자리 28세대, 근로자공공임대주택 48세대)까지 더하면 총 195세대의 주거 공간을 완성하는 것이다.
군은 이번에 확보한 20호를 시작으로, 향후 30호 추가 물량 확보를 추진해 중장기적인 청년 주거 기반을 구축한다는 구상이다.
