포천시는 지난 13일부터 스마트 안심 순환버스인 '포우리' 포천권역 2호차의 본격적인 운행을 시작했다고 14일 밝혔다. 이번 증차는 기존 1호차 운영을 통해 확인된 이용객들의 폭발적인 수요에 대응하고, 현장에서 제기된 불편 사항을 적극적으로 해소하기 위해 추진됐다.

시는 이번 2호차 추가 투입을 통해 그동안 이동 사각지대로 꼽혔던 지역의 노선을 대폭 보강하고 서비스 접근성을 높일 계획이다. 특히 권역별 수요 데이터를 면밀히 분석해 효율적인 노선을 구성하는 한편, 안전 관리를 최우선으로 고려한 운영 시스템을 구축할 방침이다.
