[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 통영시가 청년들이 언제든 머물고 즐길 수 있는 이른바 ‘청년 슬세권(슬리퍼+역세권)’ 조성을 위해 통영시 광도면 죽림 만남의 광장 일원을 청년 문화의 중심지로 탈바꿈시키고 있다.
시는 2024년 ‘청년문화거리 조성사업’을 시작으로, 2025년부터 2026년까지 ‘청년 365 핫플레이스 사업’경상남도 공모에 연달아 확정되는 쾌거를 거뒀다. 이를 통해 3년 연속 청년친화공간을 체계적으로 구축하고 있다.
올해 시는 운영 효율성을 높이기 위해 생활기반 참여형 문화거리와 관광기반 청년포차 기능을 분리해 운영한다.
죽림 문화거리에서는 상설 무대 운영 및 다채로운 청년 프로그램을 진행하고, 강구안에서는 청년포차 운영으로 관광객과 청년을 잇는 먹거리 거점(현재 12대 중 9대 신청 완료, 선착순 모집 중)으로 운영하며 한 달에 한 번 강구안에서 만날 수 있다.(오는 18일(토) 투나잇 통영 즐거울 樂행사에 포차 운영)
