<브레이크뉴스 포천 = 김형렬 기자> 포천시가 위탁 아동들이 보다 안정적이고 건강한 환경에서 성장할 수 있도록 든든한 양육 안전망 구축에 나섰다.
포천시는 지난 13일 포천시비즈니스센터 강당에서 경기북부가정위탁지원센터와 공동으로 '2026년 일반위탁부모(친인척) 보수교육'을 성황리에 마쳤다고 14일 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 부모의 빈자리를 대신해 아동을 보호하고 있는 일반위탁부모들을 대상으로, 올바른 양육 지식을 전달하고 위탁 가정의 실질적인 양육 역량을 한층 끌어올리기 위해 마련됐다.
강단에서는 △2026년 새롭게 달라지는 가정위탁제도 및 서비스 안내를 시작으로, 양육 현장에서 가장 큰 어려움으로 꼽히는 △사춘기 자녀와 화내지 않고 대화하는 소통법, 그리고 새롭게 도입된 △가정에서 시작하는 자녀 경제 독립 자산관리 프로젝트 등 위탁부모들의 피부에 와닿는 맞춤형 특강이 이어졌다.
경기북부가정위탁지원센터 관계자는 "이번 교육을 통해 위탁부모님들이 사춘기 자녀 양육에 대한 심리적 부담을 덜고 유익한 경험을 나누는 소통의 장이 되었길 바란다"며, "특히 올해 추가된 자산관리 교육이 위탁 아동들의 올바른 경제관념 형성에 큰 보탬이 될 것"이라고 기대감을 드러냈다.
포천시 관계자 역시 "아이들이 따뜻하고 안정적인 보금자리에서 자라날 수 있도록 헌신해 주시는 위탁부모님들의 노고에 깊이 감사드린다"며, "시 차원에서도 양육 과정에서 발생하는 다양한 고민을 함께 나누고 해결할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 밝혔다.
