대구 동구청이 공공현수막 디자인에 통일성을 더하기 위한 ‘표준디자인 가이드라인’을 마련해 배포했다.
최근 제각각 제작된 공공현수막이 도시 경관을 해치고 정보 전달에도 혼선이 있다며, 동구청은 ‘조화, 여백, 가독성’을 핵심 원칙으로 한 표준안을 제정했다고 15일 밝혔다.
이번 가이드라인에는 색상과 서체, 로고 배치 기준부터 최소 여백, 문구 길이 권고안까지 세부 규정이 담겼다.
불필요하게 긴 문구나 복잡한 시각 요소는 줄이고, 핵심 정보는 눈에 띄게 배치해 가독성을 높인다는 설명이다.
또 동구만의 이미지를 살릴 수 있도록 로컬 심볼이나 패턴 등 특화 요소도 활용 가능하다.
다만, 이번 가이드라인은 의무가 아닌 권고 사항이다. 정부 지침에 따라야 하거나 각 부서의 필요에 따라서는 다른 디자인이 적용될 수 있다.
김태운 동구청장 권한대행은 “표준화된 디자인을 통해 도시 브랜드 이미지를 높이고, 더 쾌적한 거리 환경을 조성하겠다”고 말했다.
