대전 유성구가 나눔의 가치를 드높이고 기부 문화를 확산하기 위한 특별한 공간을 마련했다.
유성구와 유성구행복누리재단은 15일 오전 유성구청 3층에서 ‘유성 나눔의 전당’ 제막식을 열고 본격적인 운영에 들어갔다.
‘나눔으로 유성을 빛내는 사람들’이라는 슬로건 아래 조성된 이 공간은 그동안 지역사회를 위해 따뜻한 손길을 내밀어 온 기부자들의 숭고한 뜻을 기리고, 나눔의 가치를 지역사회 전반에 공유하기 위해 기획됐다.
이날 행사는 나눔을 실천해 온 이들에게 존경과 감사의 마음을 전하는 동시에, 기부자들 간의 교류를 통해 나눔의 의미를 다시 한번 되새기는 화합의 장으로 꾸며졌다.
나눔의 전당 벽면에는 지역사회를 위한 꾸준한 후원을 이어온 이들의 이름이 새겨졌다. 개인 부문에서는 강도묵, 김기남, 김순화, 김현태, 송재현, 송정숙, 신윤섭, 이선미, 이운용 등 9명이 이름을 올렸다.
기관 및 법인 부문에서는 국방과학연구소, ㈜글로벌시스템스, 대전신세계, 롯데케미칼(주) 기초화학연구소, 에이치엔에스하이텍(주), ㈜케이티앤지, 하나은행 충청하나그룹, 한전원자력연료, 현대프리미엄아울렛 대전점 등 총 9곳이 등재되어 나눔의 온기를 더했다.
강도묵 유성구행복누리재단 이사장은 이번 전당 조성이 기부자들에 대한 예우를 다하고 자발적인 나눔 문화가 지역사회에 뿌리내리는 계기가 되기를 기대한다고 밝혔다. 아울러 앞으로도 기부자들을 위한 예우를 강화하고 더욱 다양한 나눔 사업을 전개해 나갈 계획임을 강조했다.
