【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 지난 15일 소이면 행정복지센터에서 지역 주민을 대상으로 ‘충북형 이동진료서비스’를 운영했다.
충청북도가 추진하는 ‘충북형 이동진료 서비스’는 공중보건의 지속적인 감소로 발생하는 농촌지역 의료 공백을 해소하고, 도민 누구나 보편적인 의료서비스를 누릴 수 있도록 마련된 사업이다.
지난해 보은군을 시작으로 인구감소지역 6개 시군을 대상으로 운영했으며, 올해는 충북 전 시군으로 사업 대상을 확대했다. 올해는 음성군을 시작으로 도내 전 시군에서 순차적으로 운영할 계획이다.
이번 이동진료서비스는 의료기관 이용이 상대적으로 어려운 지역 주민에게 직접 찾아가는 의료서비스를 제공하고, 질환의 조기 발견과 적기 치료 연계를 지원하기 위해 추진됐다.
이날 현장에는 진료 및 검사 차량이 배치돼 내과 진료, 골근격계 진료, 건강상담, 각종 검사 등이 이뤄졌으며, 국가암 조기검진과 구강관리 등 보건사업 홍보도 함께 진행됐다.
특히 진료와 검사가 이동진료 차량 내에서 원스톱으로 운영돼 주민들이 더욱 편리하게 의료서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 했다.
의료진은 주민의 증상과 건강 상태를 확인한 뒤 건강상담과 교육, 기본 처치, 선별적 검사 등을 실시했으며, 현장 진료 결과 정밀검사나 추가 진료가 필요한 주민에게는 진료의뢰서를 발급해 종합병원 진료로 연계할 수 있도록 지원했다.
군 관계자는 “이번 충북형 이동진료서비스는 의료 접근성이 낮은 지역 주민에게 필요한 의료서비스를 현장에서 직접 제공했다는 점에서 의미가 크다”며 “앞으로도 지역 간 의료격차를 줄이고 군민 건강 증진을 위한 맞춤형 공공보건서비스를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
