【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 지역 학교 밖 청소년들이 직업역량 강화 교육의 2단계 과정을 성공적으로 마쳤다.
대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원 산하 대구광역시학교밖청소년지원센터는 지난 7일부터 9일까지 3일간 ‘자립동기부여’ 과정을 운영했다고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 총 20시간 이상 진행됐으며, 취업·창업 교육과 근로권익교육, 실제 기업 탐방 등 실전 중심의 내용으로 꾸려졌다.
약 50명의 학교 밖 청소년들이 참가해 아이스브레이킹, 조별 활동, 취업·창업 역량 강화, 비즈니스 매너, 근로권익교육, 기업탐방, 직업인 만남 등 단계별 프로그램을 체험했다.
취업·창업 교육은 사회적기업 더컴퍼니씨협동조합 권준열 본부장이 맡아 직무 태도와 기업가정신, 기본 비즈니스 매너를 중점적으로 지도했다.
근로권익교육은 대구노동권익센터와 연계해 근로기준법, 근로계약서 작성법, 아르바이트 현장에서 권익을 지키는 방법 등을 다뤘다.
참가자들은 국민건강보험공단 대구경북본부, 대구도시개발공사, 형제금속산업 등 다양한 기업을 방문해 실제 근무 환경과 채용 조건을 둘러봤다. 현장에서는 직무 담당자와의 질의응답을 통해 진로에 대한 이해도 높였다.
센터 측은 “이번 2단계 과정을 통해 직업훈련 참여 기반을 마련했다”며 “향후 3단계 기초기술훈련과 4단계 직업훈련으로 연계해 청소년들의 취업 역량을 지속적으로 강화할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
최미송 센터장은 “이번 과정이 청소년들이 직업을 구체적으로 이해하고 실전 역량을 쌓는 출발점이 되길 바란다”며 “지역사회와의 연계를 통해 실제 취업까지 이어질 수 있도록 지원을 확대하겠다”고 전했다.

Out-of-school youth in the Daegu region have successfully completed the second stage of their vocational competency enhancement training.
The Daegu Out-of-School Youth Support Center, under the Daegu Metropolitan City Happiness Promotion Social Service Agency, announced that it operated a "Motivation for Self-Reliance" course for three days from the 7th to the 9th.
The program ran for over 20 hours and was structured around practical content, including employment and entrepreneurship training, labor rights education, and actual company visits.

The employment and entrepreneurship training was led by Kwon Jun-yeol, Head of the Social Enterprise The Company C Cooperative, who focused on teaching work attitudes, entrepreneurship, and basic business manners. The labor rights education program, conducted in conjunction with the Daegu Labor Rights Center, covered topics such as the Labor Standards Act, how to draft employment contracts, and methods to protect one's rights in part-time jobs.
Participants visited various companies, including the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service, the Daegu Urban Development Corporation, and Hyungje Metal Industry, to observe actual working environments and hiring conditions. On-site, they also enhanced their understanding of career paths through Q&A sessions with job managers.
The Center stated, "Through this second phase, we have laid the foundation for participation in vocational training," adding, "We plan to continuously strengthen the employment capabilities of youth by linking this to the third phase of basic technical training and the fourth phase of vocational training in the future."
Center Director Choi Mi-song said, "I hope this program serves as a starting point for youth to gain a concrete understanding of professions and build practical skills," and added, "We will expand support to ensure that this leads to actual employment through collaboration with the local community."
