브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 홈플러스가 식탁 필수 먹거리인 계란값 안정에 기여하기 위해 국내 대형마트 최초로 ‘태국산 신선란’을 오는 19일 판매한다.
농림축산식품부가 미국 내 조류인플루엔자 발생으로 대체 수입한 ‘태국산 신선란’ 중 홈플러스가 4만6000여 판을 확보해 전국 대형마트와 일부 홈플러스 익스프레스 매장에서 판매한다.
19일부터 다음달 초까지 6차례에 걸쳐 순차적으로 물량을 들여온다. 태국산 계란이 국내 유통 채널을 통해 소비자에게 직접 판매되는 것은 이번이 처음이다.
가격은 30구 한 판에 5890원으로 국내산 특란 한 판 가격(7990원)의 74% 수준이다. 고물가로 비교적 저렴한 수입산 계란에 대해 관심이 높아진 만큼, 1인당 구매 가능 수량은 2판으로 한정하고 최대한 많은 고객들이 실질적인 구매 혜택을 누릴 수 있도록 조치했다.
