【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 학교밖청소년지원센터는 충북 사회복지공동모금회 사랑의열매 차량 지원사업 공모를 통해 스타리아 차량을 지원받아 본격적인 이동지원 서비스를 시작한다고 밝혔다.
이번 차량은 사랑의열매 지원을 기반으로 진천군의 예산 지원과 함께 (사)한국청소년육성회 진천지구회(회장 이유성), 진천로타리클럽(회장 심규호), 익명의 개인 후원자, 현대자동차 진천지점의 후원이 더해져 마련됐다.
특히 지역사회와 기업이 함께 힘을 모아 차량 구매에 필요한 재원을 마련했다는 점에서 의미를 더하고 있다.
해당 차량은 찾아가는 상담, 교육, 진로 탐색, 문화 체험 등 학교 밖 청소년을 위한 다양한 프로그램 운영에 활용될 예정이며, 이동이 어려운 청소년들의 접근성을 높이는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
센터는 이를 통해 현장 중심의 촘촘한 지원체계를 구축하고, 청소년 개인의 상황에 맞는 맞춤형 서비스를 제공할 계획이다.
배이정 센터장은 “이번 차량 지원은 지역사회의 따뜻한 나눔이 모여 이뤄진 결과”라며 “앞으로도 학교 밖 청소년들이 소외되지 않고 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
