전남도는 지난 15일 나주에서 도 및 시·군 규제혁신 업무 담당 공무원 50여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2026 규제혁신 역량 강화 워크숍’을 개최했다. 이번 행사는 올해부터 본격화된 전남·광주 행정통합 논의에 따라 통합 이후 발생할 수 있는 행정적 비효율과 중복 규제를 사전에 차단하기 위해 마련됐다.
이번 워크숍의 핵심 화두는 단연 ‘행정통합’이었다. 참석자들은 통합 경제권이 구축될 경우, 양 시·도 간 서로 다른 조례나 지침으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 기업 경영의 불확실성을 최소화하는 방안을 집중적으로 다뤘다. 특히 통합 시너지 효과를 극대화할 수 있는 실효성 있는 규제혁신 모델 정립에 머리를 맞댔다.

직무 역량 강화를 위한 전문가 초빙 강연도 이어졌다. 이기영 좋은규제시민포럼 지방규제위원장(전 행정안전부 지방규제혁신과장)은 특강을 통해 현 정부의 규제개혁 방향을 설명하고, 타 지자체의 성공 사례를 분석했다. 참석자들은 이를 바탕으로 전남의 지역적 특성을 반영한 ‘전남형 규제혁신 모델’을 어떻게 현장에 적용할지 구체적인 전략을 논의했다.
전남도는 이번 워크숍에서 발굴된 현안을 바탕으로 중앙부처 및 기초자치단체와 협력을 강화하고, 법령 개정이 필요한 사항에 대해서는 적극적인 건의 활동을 펼칠 계획이다.

On the 15th, South Jeolla Province held the ‘2026 Regulatory Innovation Capacity Building Workshop’ in Naju, attended by approximately 50 officials responsible for regulatory innovation from the province and its cities and counties.
