세종특별자치시교육청이 다자녀 가정의 경제적 부담을 덜어주고 지역사회의 출산 장려 분위기를 조성하기 위해 맞춤형 교육비 지원 사업을 전개한다.
세종시교육청은 지역 내 학교에 재학 중인 다자녀 가정 학생을 대상으로 ‘2026학년도 다자녀 교육비 지원사업’을 추진하며, 오는 24일까지 상반기 집중 신청을 받는다고 16일 밝혔다.
이번 지원 대상은 세종시 소재 학교에 다니는 초등학교 2학년, 중학교 2학년, 고등학교 2학년 학생 중 다자녀 가정의 ‘셋째 자녀’부터다. 학부모들의 양육 부담이 커지는 시기에 맞춰 실질적인 도움을 주겠다는 취지다.
지원 금액은 학생 1인당 연간 10만 원이다.
교육청은 사용의 편의성과 투명성을 높이기 위해 지원금을 ‘제로페이 모바일 포인트’ 형태로 지급할 방침이다. 해당 포인트는 온·오프라인 가맹점에서 학용품이나 교재 등 학습에 필요한 물품을 구매하는 데 자유롭게 사용할 수 있다.
