전남도는 지난 17일 도청 서재필실에서 황기연 행정부지사 주재로 ‘전남·광주 행정통합 주요 과제 추진상황 점검회의’를 개최했다. 이번 회의는 대한민국 제1호 광역 단위 행정통합 사례인 만큼, 출범 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 행정 공백을 방지하고 안정적인 운영 기반을 다지기 위해 마련됐다.
