[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 거제시보건소는 의과 공중보건의 급감에 따른 의료 공백 최소화를 위해 20일부터 의사 인력을 보건소로 재배치하고, 의료취약지역 보건지소 중심으로 진료체계를 개편한다고 밝혔다.
현재 거제시에 배치된 공중보건의는 총 9명으로 기존 인원 13명 중 6명이 복무 만료되고, 신규로 치과의사 2명만 배정된 상태이다. 특히 의과 공중보건의는 1명에 불과해 진료체계 조정이 불가피한 상황이다.
이에 시는 보건소에 의과 의사 인력을 집중 배치하고, 보건소가 컨트롤타워 역할을 수행하는 체계로 전환한다.
이를 기반으로 의료취약지역 보건지소를 중심으로 요일별 순회진료 및 원격진료를 실시하고, 민간의료기관과의 협력 강화를 통해 의료서비스 공백을 최소화할 계획이다.
20일부터 남부면(월), 둔덕면(화), 사등면(수), 하청면 및 칠천(목), 연초면(금) 등 6개 보건지소에 대해 의과 공중보건의가 순회진료 및 원격협진을 실시한다.
