<브레이크뉴스 가평 = 이용하 기자> 경기 가평군 청평면이 봄철 야외활동이 늘어나는 시기를 맞아 지역 청소년들을 유해환경으로부터 지켜내기 위해 두 팔을 걷어붙였다.
청평면은 최근 청소년 지도위원들과 합동으로 관내 일대에서 ‘청소년 유해환경 계도 캠페인’을 대대적으로 전개했다고 20일 밝혔다.
이번 합동 캠페인은 청소년들이 유해물품에 무방비로 노출되는 것을 사전에 철저히 차단하고, 지역 사회 내에 건전하고 안전한 성장 환경을 조성하기 위해 기획됐다. 이날 현장에는 박성규 청평면장을 비롯해 청소년 지도위원 등 10여 명이 직접 거리로 나서 꼼꼼한 점검과 계도 활동을 펼쳤다.
민관 합동 점검반은 일반음식점과 편의점 등 평소 청소년들의 출입이 잦은 다중이용시설을 집중적으로 순회하며, 청소년 대상 유해물품 판매 금지 표시가 법적 기준에 맞게 제대로 이행되고 있는지 철저히 확인했다.
특히 점검반은 업소 곳곳에 ‘19세 미만 술·담배 판매 금지’ 스티커를 직접 부착하며, 업주와 종사자들에게 청소년 선도 및 보호 활동에 한마음으로 동참해 줄 것을 호소했다.
