【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군청소년문화의집이 청소년들이 직접 기획하고 운영하는 주도형 러닝크루 ‘유스런 러닝크루’를 모집한다.
이번 프로그램은 청소년들이 건강한 스포츠 문화를 만들고 스스로 도전과 성취를 경험할 수 있도록 마련됐다.
특히 기획 단계부터 운영까지 전 과정에 청소년이 참여하는 청소년 주도형 프로젝트라는 점에서 눈길을 끈다.
러닝크루는 청소년문화의집 운영위원회 ‘유스뉴스’가 중심이 돼 기획했다.
참가자 모집과 홍보, 훈련 일정 수립 등 활동 전반을 청소년들이 직접 설계하며 또래 중심의 스포츠 문화를 만들어갈 예정이다.
선발된 크루원들은 정기 러닝 세션을 통해 체력 증진과 올바른 러닝 자세 습득, 크루 문화 형성에 나선다.
활동의 하이라이트는 오는 9월 12일 개최되는 청소년 주도 러닝 대회(가칭 ‘치킨런’)다.
코스 선정부터 참가자 모집, 행사 운영까지 모든 과정을 청소년들이 직접 맡아 소규모 마라톤 대회를 만들어갈 계획이다.
기획을 총괄한 김가온 학생은 “우리가 직접 하나부터 열까지 기획해 보고 싶었다”며 “함께 달리며 성취감을 느끼고, 9월 대회까지 성공적으로 이끌겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
모집 기간은 4월 21일부터 30일까지며, 달리기에 관심 있는 청소년은 누구나 지원할 수 있다.
