이날 행사에는 송인헌 군수, 괴산파크골프연합회 회원 등 120여 명이 참석해 새 체육 시설 완공을 축하했다.
준공식은 기념식수 심기를 시작으로 경과보고, 기념사, 테이프 커팅, 시타 순으로 진행됐다.
청천 파크골프연습장은 총사업비 5억 5000만 원을 들여 부지면적 4400㎡에 5홀 규모 연습장과 사무실 1동, 야외 운동기구를 갖췄다.
군은 이번 준공과 함께 지역 내 생활체육 인프라를 전방위로 확충하고 있다.
앞서 운영 중인 괴산그라운드골프장과 괴산파크골프장에 이어 최근 정용파크골프장(9홀)과 연풍그라운드골프연습장(8홀)도 본격 운영에 들어갔다.
오는 8월 칠성면 도정리 일원에 40억 원을 들인 18홀 규모(60,000㎡) 대규모 파크골프장 준공을 앞두고 있어 군민의 생활체육 접근성이 한층 높아질 전망이다.
송인헌 군수는 “청천 파크골프연습장이 주민들이 모여 건강을 챙기고 화합을 다지는 알찬 공간이 되길 바란다”라며 “군민 모두가 건강하게 여가를 즐길 수 있는 활기찬 괴산을 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
