오는 6월 3일 실시하는 전국동시지방선거에 출마하는 여야 후보가 확정된 가운데 국민의힘 김선광 대전 중구청장 예비후보가 현직 더불어민주당 김제선 중구청장을 향해 지역 현안 해결을 위한 공개 정책 토론을 공식 제안하며 기선 제압에 나섰다.
