대전 서구가 친환경 재생에너지 보급을 통한 탄소중립 실현과 구민들의 에너지 요금 부담 경감을 위해 ‘2027년 재생에너지 융복합지원사업’의 수요자 모집에 나섰다.
이번 사업은 주택이나 건물에 자가소비용 재생에너지원(태양광, 태양열, 지열)을 설치할 때 정부와 지자체가 설치 비용의 약 75%를 지원하는 기후에너지환경부(한국에너지공단) 주관 공모 사업이다.
서구는 이를 통해 친환경 에너지 전환을 가속화하고, 최근 인상된 에너지 요금으로 어려움을 겪는 가구의 경제적 부담을 실질적으로 낮추겠다는 방침이다.
한국에너지공단에 따르면, 수요가 가장 많은 일반주택용 3kW 태양광 설비의 총 설치비는 4,541,000원으로 책정됐다.
이 중 설치 희망자가 부담하는 자부담금은 약 25% 수준인 1,135,000원으로 예상된다. 다만, 최종적인 자부담 금액은 공모 평가 결과와 예산 여건 등을 종합적으로 검토해 추후 확정될 예정이다.
실제 절감 효과도 상당할 것으로 보인다. 한국전력공사의 자료를 보면 4인 가구의 월평균 전기요금은 대략 7만 원(350kWh)에서 8만 원(400kWh) 선이다.
서구는 주택용 3kW 태양광 장비를 설치할 경우 매월 평균 약 6만 원의 전기요금을 아낄 수 있어, 가계 경제에 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 내다보고 있다.
