[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 산청군은 한국관광공사가 주관하는 ‘2026 빅데이터와 함께하는 똑똑한 컨설팅(빅똑컨) 공모사업’에 신규사업 부문에 선정됐다고 21일 밝혔다.
빅똑컨은 관광 빅데이터와 AI 분석을 활용해 지역 맞춤형 관광 전략을 제시하는 사업이다.
산청군은 이번 선정으로 관광객 이용행태 분석과 전략 수립을 위한 전문 컨설팅을 지원받게 된다.
이에 따라 관광객 이용행태를 체계적으로 분석하고 이를 기반으로 통합 안내체계와 맞춤형 관광 코스 추천, 체험 프로그램 연계 등 관광 서비스 전반을 고도화할 계획이다.
특히 산청군을 방문하는 관광객이 보다 편리하고 풍부하게 경험할 수 있는 관광환경을 조성한다는 방침이다.
한방·웰니스 자원을 중심으로 다양한 체험 콘텐츠를 유기적으로 연결하고 사계절 내내 즐길 수 있는 체류형 관광 모델을 구축해 지역 관광의 지속적인 성장 기반을 마련한다.
또 최근 선정된 디지털 관광주민증 사업과 연계해 관광객 맞춤형 혜택 제공과 지역 상권 활성화를 도모하고 데이터 기반 관광 서비스 확대를 통해 새로운 관광 수요 창출에 나선다.
산청군 관계자는 “동의보감촌을 중심으로 산청만의 차별화된 관광 모델을 한층 발전시켜 나갈 것”이라며 “빅데이터와 AI 기반 전략을 통해 관광객 만족도를 높여 지역경제 활성화에 기여할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
