브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 서울시장 재보궐 선거 야권 단일후보로 오세훈 국민의힘 후보가 안철수 국민의당 후보를 꺽고 선출됐다.
23일 야권 야권 후보단일화를 위한 국민의힘과 국민의당 실무협상단은 이날 국회에서 기자회견을 갖고 "오세훈 후보가 최종 후부로 선출됐다"고 발표했다.
이에 따라 오세훈 후보는 서울시장 자리를 놓고 박영선 더불어민주당 후보와 양자대결을 펼치게 됐다.
양당은 최종 단일후보 선출을 위해 지난 22일 총 3200명을 대상으로 여론조사를 실시해 최종 후보를 발표하게 됐다.
이번 여론조사는 한국리서치와 글로벌리서치 두 개 기관에서 100% 무선 안심번호로 각각 1600개씩 표본수 총 3200개로 경쟁력과 적합도를 묻는 방식으로 진행됐다.
한편 오세훈 후보는 앞선 당내 경선에서 나경원 전 의원을 꺾고 국민의힘 후보로 선출돼 안철수 후보와 야권 단일후보 경쟁을 벌여왔다.
